Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania and is now a Romanian/German actress. Her most well-known movies include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara the only son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. When she was 16, Alexandra played the leading role in several television dramas. After her critically acclaimed role in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge on Downfall. Downfall won an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial success. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the beautiful diva. Alexandra's work has led her to participate in several significant national and international productions. They include the British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical miniseries Napoleon and many more. She was also an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and at the Cannes Film Festival.
